Diseases and disorders that affect the excretory system include gout, kidney failure, urinary tract infections, diarrhea and constipation. Kidney failure occurs through the body's loss of kidney functions. When the kidneys fail, there is no filtering of the blood, which leads to a buildup of waste in the body

There is more than one organ involved in the excretory system. The organs involved are your kidneys, sweat glands, lungs and liver. Your kidneys are the primary organs. Getting the waste out of your body is very important because it is poisonous. If the waste builds up and is not taken care of, serious problems can occur. In general, excretion is the process of removing unwanted products from your body and eliminating them. Human waste is composed of excess, toxic and dangerous substances, as well as the by-products of metabolism and digestion. The parts of the excretory system that handle urine are the kidneys, the bladder, the ureters and the urethra. The kidney collects waste filtered from the blood. This collection forms urine and is passed from the kidneys via ureters and into the bladder. The bladder eventually passes urine through the urethra.

    || || The word excretion means the removal of waste substances from the body. Several organs are involved with the excretory system, including the kidneys, sweat glands, lungs . and rectum, The primary organs of excretions, however, are the kidney. Excretion is vital to the health of the body because the wastes are poisonous. If the wastes build up and are not eliminated, they can cause serious problems. As you know , carbon dioxide and water vapor are removed by the lungs. Other wastes , namely urea, uric acid, various salts, and assorted nitrogenous wastes , are removed by the kidneys and sweat glands. ||
